Golf

The Ponte Vedra Inn and Club,
built in 1937, pits golfers against
the ocean breezes.
Some of Florida's most challenging and scenic courses are found in the Ponte Vedra area. From the renowned Tournament Players Championship (TPC) Stadium Course at Sawgrass, home of the annual PGA tournament Players Championship, to the many other fine courses peppered throughout this community perfectly suited for the golfer of any handicap.

TPC, one of the largest and most prestigious golf resorts in the country, has signature par 72, 6,857-yard course designed by Pete Dye and is ranked 7th among "America's Best Resort Courses" by Golf Digest.

Guests at Marriott Sawgrass Resort also have access to two private courses nearby, the Oak Bridge Club and the course at the Marsh Landing Country Club - which meanders through some of the most gorgeous North Florida scenery. Select your clubs carefully for play in the tidal ponds, lagoons and marshes.

Two other outstanding courses at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club challenge the golfer with ocean breezes and many water hazards. A new must-see for golfers and non-golfers alike is just a short trip from Ponte Vedra, the New World Golf Village and Hall of Fame.
