Near the end of Halls River Road visitors can enjoy what was once K. C. Crump's and the Ramshackle Cafe - Originally a private home in the early 1900's known as the Jenkins House, but now known as Woody's Dockside, specializing in seafood the menu offers a wide variety of items for selection. Early Bird Specials are from 4:00-6:00 P. M. Located at 11210 W. Halls River Road, the atmosphere of the place includes its very own ghost.

Just over the bridge on Halls River Road is the
Florida Crab Company , a fun, laid-back seafood restaurant with Florida seashore decor and pastels. Riverside dining includes a fabulous view of the Homosassa River and a back porch dining area complete with ceiling fans and screen-in area where boaters can dock and walk up the short pier to the porch. Voted No. 1 in Central New York for two years in a row, they are open every day at Noon and they say that hours vary depending on the weather and who shows up! Lots of people show up and it is another favorite of the local residents and tourists as well.

Down Yulee Drive the
Old Mill Tavern , John's Bar-B-Que and the Yulee Cafe offer reasonably priced, delicious meals. You can even order up some old-fashioned mullet and grits for breakfast.

Next-door to the Yulee Cafe, a big pink Flamingo welcomes visitors to the
Neat Stuff Studio and Gallery with an abundance of pottery, owner Joanna Archibald's wood sculptures, wildlife photography by Penelope Berglund, original artworks, prints, jewelry, shells, photography, wood carvings and many one-of-a-kind items. Neat Stuff is open daily from 10:00 A. M. to 4:00 P. M. and 12:00 P. M. to 4:00 P. M. on Sundays.

Another nifty shop is Naber's Doll Factory , located South of Homosassa -- a local attraction that draws visitors from all over the world. All Naber characters are originally carved in German Oak and Sassafras by H. P. Naber and each character is a limited edition, numbered behind the left ear from 1 to 1001. They are considered collectibles. Naber's is located on Highway 19 South at 8915 South Suncoast Boulevard, Homosassa, FL 34446.
