Florida is blessed with a wonderfully diverse landscape - from lush rolling hills to peaceful beaches, tangled tropical swamplands, underground caves, pristine estuaries, exotic blue holes, prairie flatlands and towering pine forests - each home to multifarious wildlife, which have remained untouched for tens of thousands of years.

Fortunately, the state has set aside good amount of this land as state parks, protecting it from the certain onslaught of civilization, and managing portions for our enjoyment. Each park offers something valuable to people with varied interests - from the rugged camper to the historian, the surfer, fisher, hiker, biker, boater, botanist, geologist, artist, or just a family on a picnic.

Absolutely Florida is proud to have designed and produced the comprehensive new website for the Florida Park Service, and introduce it to our readers this summer. Above are many ways you can select the park that will be the setting for endless hours of enjoyment, education and perhaps some inspiration from the natural beauty that surrounds us.
