The Fort Walton Beach Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will hold their annual fundraiser for education on March 10th at Choctaw High School. The event includes entertainment, auction and vendors from several areas. It features 59 car classes and last year's show had over 300 cars. May 28 Eglin's 16th annual Gate to Gate Run.
On Memorial Day, Eglin AFB will host the16th annual Gate-to-Gate run, a favorite competition for runners across the southeastern United States. The 4.4 mile event is open to the public for individuals and teams. Participants may either run or walk the course. The event will also feature a childrens' one-mile fun run and a post-race party with free food, beverages and live entertainment.
