Sights and Sounds
Open since 1971, The Magic Kingdom is
truly "magical" with fantasy from the movies, yesterday and tomorrow
in its Adventureland, Liberty Square; Frontierland; Main
Street, USA; Fantasyland; Tomorrowland; and Mickey's Toontown
Fair. In Frontierland, you can rush down Splash Mountain in a log flume
in pursuit of Brer Rabbit - a ride that ends in a dramatic 50-foot drop. Or
you can explore secret caverns and observe ferocious sea battles at the Pirates
of the Caribbean, soon to be the theme of a Disney movie. In Tomorrowland,
you can get goosebumps from a thrilling rocketship ride on Space Mountain.
And in the newly-renovated Advertureland, take a ride on a magic carpet like
Aladdin or climb through the Swiss Family Robinson's treehouse.
At Epcot's World Showcase, children and adults may travel the globe without
ever leaving America. There, the history, culture, and cuisine of 11 countries
- Italy, Germany, China, Morocco, Mexico, Japan, France, Norway, Canada and
the United Kingdom can be experienced via rides, restaurants and shows. The
sights, sounds and tastes are all here to be savored them. Or fast forward in
Epcot's Future World where activities include trips through Innoventions,
Spaceship Earth, Universe of Energy, Journey into Imagination,
The Land, Horizons, The Living Seas, The Wonders of Life
or Test Track. These exhibits allow visitors to marvel at mankind's ability
to achieve scientific breakthroughs and get a taste of the future
