Postural Re-Integration

The body is a system that adjusts to specific conditions, some of which may include pain and dysfunction caused by stress or injury. Postural Re-Integration addresses all components of our bodies - the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual, to create balance and harmony to the whole.

The techniques used in Postural Re-Integration may include Deep Tissue Bodywork, Cranio Sacral Therapy, Transformative Breathwork, Guided Narratives and Energy Work. The body is continuously in a state of flux and adjustments - most of the time we are not even aware of it. We can be extremely functional with a dysfunctional body.

In our society and with the lifestyles that we lead, some of the major contributors to postural dysfunction are stress and injury due to an overactive lifestyle, or job related injuries. Postural dysfunction is not limited to physical dysfunction. All components that create a whole are intermingled and are affected.

These major components are the physical body, the mental body, the emotional body and the spiritual body. When something affects one, because of the way we are all linked or wired together, the whole is affected. The goal of Postural Re-Integration Therapy is to address all four components and to bring about balance and harmony that will cause a significant change in the whole.

Some of the techniques that we use are...

For the Physical body:
Deep Tissue Bodywork, Stretching, Range of Motion, Myofacia Release, Compassionate Touch, Trigger Point Therapy, and Energy Work.

For the Mental body:
Massage Therapy, Energy Work, Cranio Sacral Therapy, Music and Sound Therapy.

For the Emotional body:
Integrative Breathwork, Transformational Breathwork, Guided Narratives, Cranio Sacral Therapy and Massage Therapy.

For the Spiritual body:
The Spiritual body is addressed in all sessions with the intention and the knowledge that we are working with the Soul as much as the other three bodies.
