Many of Florida's State Parks have facilities that are
accessible to individuals who use wheelchairs or other mobilie devices. A
large number of our programs are also accessible to people with visual or
hearing impairments. Information on our parks can be obtained in large print,
Braille, and on audio cassette.
Audio description is available in several of our parks to enhance museums
or guided tours for individuals with limited sight. Sign language interpretation
is available with advance notice, videos are open or closed caption, and
a written transcript is available for most audio programs.
If you need information regarding the accessibility of any site or program,
please call or write to the park that interests you. You can also reach
our State Park Accessibility Coordinator at (850) 488-5090. We encourage
you to participate in our park programs and enjoy the Real Florida!
